We take the safety of our students, staff, Columbus State and surrounding community very seriously. While we are grateful that life is continuing to shift back into more “normal”, we also recognize the challenges that come from living in a world transitioning out of a global pandemic.
Here is what Chi Alpha is doing to keep our students, staff, and campuses safe.
We are abiding by all current CSU guidelines regarding social distancing and sanitation. For the most up-to-date CSU guidelines, you can check out the info found here: https://www.columbusstate.edu/covid/
Our guidelines are intended to match CSU’s Covid Guidelines to the best of our ability.
Fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear face coverings or maintain physical distancing at Chi Alpha events or on our Chi Alpha House property. However, though not a requirement, face coverings are highly encouraged at Chi Alpha events and on our Chi Alpha House property regardless of vaccination status. Per CDC guidelines, individuals are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second shot of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccines, or after the single shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
Unvaccinated individuals are strongly encouraged to continue wearing a mask or face covering. This includes Chi Alpha events and at our Chi Alpha House property.
All of our Chi Alpha staff have been fully vaccinated and we are encouraging our students to receive the vaccine.
